Mahindra Opens XUV 3XO ZNG Bookings at ₹21,000
All four ZNG variants can be booked for ₹21,000, though the REVX trims come only in Galaxy Grey with a Stealth Black roof.

Mahindra opened bookings for the XUV 3XO ZNG, the factory CNG version of its compact SUV, on 20 October 2026. Its booking website lists all four variants for a booking amount of ₹21,000, with ex-showroom prices from ₹9.99 lakh to ₹12.27 lakh.
Bookings are also open at Mahindra dealerships. In its 15 October launch release, Mahindra said deliveries would begin on 20 October, the same day as bookings.
Colour choice depends on the variant. The MX Edge and AX5 can be booked in five of the XUV 3XO's shades, while both REVX trims come only in Galaxy Grey with a Stealth Black roof, according to Mahindra's booking site.

What the ZNG Is
The ZNG is Mahindra's first mainstream CNG passenger vehicle, according to the company. It is based on the XUV 3XO compact SUV, which Mahindra says has sold more than 2.5 lakh units in less than two and a half years.
Its two CNG cylinders sit beneath the luggage area. Mahindra says this layout leaves the boot floor flat and gives 270 litres of usable space, while the spare wheel moves under the body.
Engine and Performance
The ZNG uses Mahindra's 1.2-litre mStallion TCMPFi turbocharged petrol engine, which runs on both CNG and petrol. Mahindra rates it at 82 kW (111 PS) and 200 Nm on either fuel, with peak torque held from 1,500 to 3,500 rpm.
Mahindra says no other CNG passenger vehicle sold in India makes more torque. It quotes 0 to 60 km/h in 4.9 seconds and 0 to 100 km/h in 11.8 seconds in CNG mode. Its certified CNG efficiency is 24.7 km/kg.
The system injects CNG at 10 bar, which Mahindra says is a first in the segment. The car switches to petrol automatically when CNG runs low, and its gas-leak detection also switches it to petrol if a leak is found. An NGV fast-filling valve is fitted for quicker refuelling.

Safety and Equipment
All four ZNG variants come with six airbags, ISOFIX mounts for child seats and Electronic Stability Control as standard. The regular XUV 3XO holds a five-star Bharat NCAP rating for adult and child occupant protection, and Mahindra says the ZNG is engineered for the same rating.
The entry MX Edge ZNG already has a 10.25-inch (26.03 cm) touchscreen and cruise control, plus air vents for rear passengers and a rear seat that splits 60:40. The AX5 adds twin 26.03 cm screens, a single-pane sunroof and diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The two REVX trims add a Skyroof, black leatherette seats and a dual-tone roof, and the REVX A also brings Dolby Atmos audio.
There is no automatic ZNG. A buyer who wants CNG has to take the 6-speed manual, while the petrol and diesel XUV 3XO also come with automatic gearboxes.
