The Amaze 2nd Gen comes in one grade, the S, with a choice of gearbox. The S manual costs ₹6.98 Lakh and the S CVT ₹7.80 Lakh ex-showroom, so the only decision is whether a two pedal automatic is worth ₹82,100 to you.

One S grade, two gearboxes
Both versions share the same equipment: two airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts, rear parking sensors, manual air conditioning, power windows and a Bluetooth audio unit with four speakers. The only kit differences are small. The manual has a leather boot on the gear lever, and the CVT has a shift position display in the meter.
The manual is the cheaper and slightly more frugal pick at 18.60 kmpl. The CVT suits heavy city traffic, where losing the clutch pedal matters more than the 0.30 kmpl it gives up. To compare them line by line, open the Amaze 2nd Gen feature list.
Amaze 2nd Gen or the newer Amaze?
The newer Amaze starts at ₹7.65 Lakh for its V manual, ₹67,700 more than the S manual. That money buys six airbags, stability control and an 8 inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a more modern design.
If safety kit and a screen matter, the gap is worth paying. If you want the lowest price on a Honda sedan with a big boot, the 2nd Gen still makes sense. You can see the five Amaze 2nd Gen colours before you decide.
